In my current role at Legacy Consulting Group, parent company of Core Plus Duty Free, I develop strategic communications and high-visibility content that help brands strengthen industry presence and communicate clearly with external audiences. This includes annual report development, partner-facing thought leadership, and externally published industry content, alongside freelance and consulting projects where I support founders and growing businesses with brand messaging, launch campaigns, and educational product content. Annual Business Report Design & Strategy | Core Plus Duty Free & LCG

For Core Plus Duty Free, Legacy Consulting Group’s flagship airport retail brand, I developed and designed this four-page annual report to communicate year-over-year business performance, key growth metrics, and forward-looking goals for internal and external stakeholders. My role included gathering and synthesizing annual data, writing report copy, structuring the narrative, and designing the full report in brand-aligned visual format to present business growth in a clear, polished, and strategic way. This was used as a tool for continued engagement with existing and prospective partners. As of 2026, CPDF has earned $1.1 Million in annual gross for 3 consecutive years, despite decreasing passenger traffic. View my cohesive report.

Core Plus Duty Free enhances travel essentials offer with Go Travel

As part of my work with Legacy Consulting Group, I identify and cultivate opportunities for strategic media placement that strengthen brand visibility for Core Plus Duty Free, an ACDBE-certified woman-owned business in airport retail. For this feature in The Moodie Davitt Report, I developed and wrote a partner story translating CPDF’s global retail partnership with Go Travel into a polished trade publication narrative for an international airport retail audience. My role included shaping the editorial angle, drafting and refining the article, coordinating stakeholder messaging, and managing assets to position the partnership as a meaningful business milestone.

Core Plus Duty Free (CPDF), a Legacy Consulting Group company, completed its third year operating out of Florida’s Melbourne Orlando International Airport with record sales and is eyeing new horizons beyond Melbourne with potential duty free expansions, exciting new brand partnerships, and new concepts that could shake up the travel retail space. To expand our digital footprint and promote brand awareness and increased credibility, I developed and authored this feature article for Travel Markets Insider, shaping the story from initial pitch through final publication in collaboration with the editorial team. My role included identifying the news angle, interviewing stakeholders, writing and refining the full article, and managing the editorial process with the publication to position Core Plus Duty Free’s expansion as a compelling industry story for a trade audience.

What began as a concept to introduce the "Octopus Arms" theory quickly turned into creating additional masterclasses, supporting content, and with such an engaged audience - even spun off into:

  • Other strategic cornerstones of this content strategy are the client's monthly newsletter that I plan, write, optimize, and manage, which has maintained an open-rate of 50-60+% for 2 years (as of April 2026)
